The WLS-2010 is a stainless steel electronic key switch for local keyed control of electromechanical swinging or sliding locks. It is used in correctional and security facilities to supplement central controls, provide routine key operation and display door status at the opening.

Technical Overview

The WLS-2010 provides keyed momentary control for an electromechanical lock while integrating with central on/off power switching. The key-switch cylinder may be keyed differently from the controlled lock, supporting an additional operating safeguard during routine use or power interruptions.

  • Two momentary-action switches operated by clockwise or counterclockwise key rotation
  • Red and green LED door-status indicators
  • Quick-disconnect wire leads
  • 7-ga stainless steel faceplate
  • Four included 12-24 security mounting bolts
  • Recommended minimum mounting depth: 2.500″
  • MKS Mogul-cylinder key-switch configuration
