The WLS-1520 is a high-security electromechanical detention lock for jamb installation in steel door frames of at least 14-ga construction. A high-torque motor drives the latch for remote control, while the cylinder provides manual key unlock and relock capability. Internal monitoring supports integration with institutional security controls.

- 24 VDC motor operation at 0.25-0.5 A, with 2 A maximum draw; 120 VAC configurations are available by model
- Withstands side loads greater than 850 lb
- 11-ga stainless steel case and cover with machined or cast stainless steel and non-ferrous internal components
- Lock-status switch and motor-control switches support half- or full-cycle operation
- Lock-status monitoring must be paired with a door-position switch to confirm that the door is closed and locked
